After a last-minute electoral victory pushed out the rightwing Polish government in 2024, curator Marta Czyż hurried to invite Ukrainiain art collective Open Group to show in the Polish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.

Their haunting video installation, Repeat After Me II (2022, 2024), will be restaged in NYC at 601 Artspace from 9 May thru 22 June 2025. The show, which includes another OPEN GROUP work related to the impact of the Russian invasion, was organized by Magda Sawon, and somehow, Czyż and the OPEN GROUP artists will all be in attendance for opening weekend events.
