A list of my favorite rhythm games (even though I’ve never played them before)
Just Shapes and Beats
Project Arrhythmia
Geometry Dash
Thumper
Beat saber
Adofai
Soudodger
Super hexagon and Open Hexagon
It's time to share more about my au story. There are many games involved but here are just some of them.

Yes, it's one of those aus. There are others that play a role here but I'll explain those later.
Each game is a different world where both the canon characters and the level characters live. These worlds are separate from earth and were made by humans. They follow similar logic to video games. Everyone, even the npcs, carry weapons. Everyone can respawn if they die as long as they have a working respawn point in the world they're currently in.
These creatures may take human/humanoid forms, but they are not like humans at all. They were not born like humans. Most were made in other ways. Some using things like a computer, cauldron, or even other things. Others are ghosts or zombies and actually remember their past lives as humans. However, humans cannot control what they will look like. Only the materials they use to make them can slightly affect them.
Their anatomy is also different from humans. They have paint instead of blood. And their hearts are not like a human heart. But it is an important feature, especially for level characters. For those who have a song, like a level, that song is their heartbeat. It's basically their life force, and there can be serious consequences if their heart is physically damaged.
I need to add a picture so here's a small visual of it.
(I don't normally draw like this. I wanted this to be quick)
When a song is used in more than one game, the person who has that song as their heartbeat is in the gamecode of that world. They can travel between worlds to see their friends and do other things. Even if someone is not in that game. They can still come in as a visitor.
That's all for now because this post is too long. Next post will be about the origins of how these worlds were first made.
'Open Hexagon' is a Groovy Evolution of Terry Cavanagh's 'Super Hexagon'
Spin, spin, keep spinning... spin faster! Oh. That's it. Game over. What, sound familiar? Well, yeah, but fret not: a tweet from the maker of Super Hexagon confirms that Open Hexagon is fully supported by Terry Cavanagh. With that out of the way, how about a look at what Open Hexagon adds to the groovy arcade experience of hexagon spinning?
