Muse: Jay Halstead

Plot: Jay is on Voight's shit list and he's benched from the current case because of prior incidents with the offender and a restraining order in place.

A/N: Kinda like that episode with that Ronnie guy the child abuser.

"This is bullshit! Voight benched me. I know this suspect better than anyone. He's a violent offender and he's walked on two charges already. This is not even remotely fair! Hank is a dick for benching me. Goddamn it!"

Muse: Hank Voight

Plot: A suspect has particularly gotten under Voight's skin and he brings up Justin's name. That causes Voight to snap and someone needs to stop him before he kills the suspect in questioning. The team needs to calm him down and get his head together before he's thrown off the case.

"You know you're gonna talk one way or another whether you do it voluntarily or whether it's involuntary and you get carted outta here on a goddamn stretcher. I want a name of who you're working with right now!" When the sleeves get rolled up, he means serious business. When that vein in his neck pops out, he's getting heated. When the black gloves come out he's ready to beat the hell outta someone.

"I ain't scared of you Voight. They're just gonna throw this out because you used excessive force." The perp says. "Damn man, I see why Justin turned out how he did. Look who he had as a father and look where that got him."

Behind the glass Voight's team gets the 'oh shit' look at the mention of Justin. "Oh no, he's gonna fucking kill him now.." Halstead says starting towards the door.

Before the perp could think about it, Voight punches him in the face with an unexpected left. "You keep my son's name outta your goddamn mouth! Do you hear me?!"

"Feeling guilty that your shitty parenting got him killed?" The perp spits blood at Voight.

Hank lost it and starts hammering on this guy to the point that blood is spattering everywhere. Halstead grabs up Voight to separate him. "Sarge, Sarge take a walk. We can't make our case if you kill him." Jay reminds him. Hank is pulled from the room and he's fuming mad.

"Before you start in on my antics he opened that door mentioning my late son." Hank sees a higher up and gets even more ticked off. "Son of a bitch!"
