In the lawyer's head, he was no different outside of court as he was in court. No different from how he was years ago, when Rei was his only real friend. Stoic. Quiet. Emotional, but only internally and unable to ever explore that or present it.
From his perspective, even when pursuing romance, he could keep a level head. Emotions masked. Cool and collected. Never easily flustered.
Anyone who knows the Junsui of today knows all of this is false. In court, sure. He is 'The Devil of the Defence'. A man known for pushing witnesses and prosecutors as far as possible while towing the line of almost being put into contempt for it. A man who can analyse a situation and face it head on not just forensically but coldly. Devoid of feeling. But out of court? An absolute fucking mess. A disaster.
And this is showing right now as he hides himself in his scarf - in a way that he thinks is cool and stoic - and speaks up.
"W-Would you like to go on a valentine's date...?" The voice quiver was surely unnoticeable.
