Here's a blast from the past, 2018 to be specific! Now anybody who remembers me making Arkwright's Corner shop has probably been with me since the start, I think this was the third or fourth project I did off my own back simply because bits something iconic that is very British and I appreciate... But it also allowed me to flex my imagination for how to do things, how to problem solve and how get in more realistic details... I really enjoyed making this and think now I would display it very differently... Who remembers Open All Hours? Arkwright and Granville were comedy hero’s in our house. Ronnie Barker and David Jason were just the best duo. I reckon I’d fit right in to their grocers with this coat! But in all seriousness, this @hm coat has been seen all over insta and here’s why... it’s a classic, has two generous pockets and an inside pocket, plus it is part of the Conscious Collection which uses sustainable and recycled fabrics.
