Renault 5 GT rally diorama - commission - (1/43) With the back scene coming together I realised that I needed more balance in the scene and as I had included a forced perspective tree line leading up to the top of the crest I felt I wanted to carry this on with that perspective except for I wanted to make it 3 dimensional. To do this I remembered I had saved some foam packaging a while back which would be easy to shape and so using static grass as the main foliage for the fir trees I was able to create them in a simple but effective way I feel. Renault 5 GT rally diorama - commission - (1/43) The Renault 5 is fully cocooned to allow me to get both the primer and airbrush around with out damaging it's finished... You can see at the top I've also used paper to cover up the area's I don't want to hit.
