Straight on ‘til morning ||

Everyone knows that fae are born of a baby’s laughter. With the only difference being what kind of talent they might possess. When little Tink was born it was a a wonder what she might come to accomplish. Though by the time she was but a few days old it had come to everyone’s attention that she was to be tinker faerie. Gifted with the ability to take things apart and put them together in a way that they would be more sufficient as well as create things at whim. There was nothing that little Tinkerbell could not create. Her time in the Hollow was one of laughter and fun. Making friends with nearly all who came in contact with her. And even forming a bit of a relationship with another boy fae by the name of Terence. But, of course, her time there was limited when word came that the miraculous Peter Pan would soon be arriving in the Hollow.

Everyone was all up in an uproar about Pan coming to see them. But not little Tink. When the day came, she approached him the way she would anyone else. It seemed to be what he had been searching for and with that the two began spending much time together. On the day that Pan was to leave he asked Tinkerbell to accompany him and she agreed with urgency. Ready to leave her life in the Hollow behind for new and bigger adventures with her new best friend. But he was not everything that her friends had said he was. Pan was cruel and selfish and seemed to sweep everyone, including Tinkerbell, off their feet. Which was why when a girl by the name of Wendy found her way to Neverland and had her best friend completely enamored, Tink was a little miffed. To say the very least.

Suddenly, all the attention was taken away from her and given to this Wendybird. Tinkerbell was livid and ran to Pan’s rival, Hook, and gave him the whereabouts of where he was. Going as far as to lead him there herself. Of course, this left a rift between the two and Pan was furious with her. But there was no time to be angry anymore. Pan’s magic was withering away and he was slowing starting to age. Neverand’s magic was being stripped from him and they had to act fast. Well, there was only one person that could help and that was Yen Sid. Flying away to another realm to find him, the two found themselves in Portus Cale where a war was about to break free. While Tink knew where her intentions laid there was very little hope in bringing Pan to see the error of his ways.

It wasn’t my fault! Those stink bugs were asking for it! ||

Who was once her best friend. Now she feels like she barely even knows Peter. The two still talk and are close but with Wendy having all his attention it’s hard for her to even reach him.

The one person in which she hates the most. If there was anyone that the little fae wishes ill upon--it’s Wendy.

Let me be your wings ||

Thumbelina was the product of magic itself. An old woman came upon a witch and expressed her desire for a child. The witch gave her barleycorn and told her to plant it. After planting it that night a baby was born in the old woman’s garden. As the baby grew into a small child it became apparent that she had a green thumb or at least possessed garden magic. Thumbelina helped her new mother’s garden grow and flourish. She was beloved by all who crossed paths with her as she was the sweetest young girl. But eventually her comfortable life came to an end as she was stolen in her sleep at the age of sixteen. It was a woman who had her sights set on her from the moment she was born and waited until she was old enough to marry her son, Grundel.

Luckily, she was able to escape and try to return home with help of neighboring children. But on her way back home Thumbelina got lost and wandered. Months passed and she was soon taken in by a man by the name of Berkeley Beetle. He told her that he was a connoisseur of rare nectar's, designer of rare threads and a judge of beautiful women. He created and designed a special dress for Thumbelina to wear to an event with his friends. Though they were harsh and cruel to her and ridiculed her. Berkeley sided with his friends and tossed her outside. Making her subject to the harsh conditions of the weather. Soon after she was taken in by woman who urged her to marry her brother. But the woman’s brother was blind and agoraphobic, refusing to leave his house.

Thumbelina refused. Telling the woman how she could never marry a man who wouldn’t see the sun. A couple years went by and eventually she saved up enough money to leave the woman’s care. Sneaking away in the middle of the night with a boy around her age by the name of Jacquimo. Together they build a living just enough for the two of them. That is until she met him. Thumbelina was homesick and was trying to map out a way to return home or at least see her mother again. It was in a field of flowers where she met Cornelius. He swept her off her feet and they planned to meet every night after that. They danced and sang together until Thumbelna eventually learned that he was a fae.

His wings took them high into the sky and he promised to never let her fall. But his parents were not very fond of the idea of their son being with a seemingly human girl. So it was with a heavy heart that Thumbelina let her prince go. He vowed that one day they would meet again and with that he and his family vanished from their realm. Eventually, she did find her way home with Jacquimo in hand. She told her mother about her adventures and more importantly about Cornelius. Her mother was happy to have her baby home but urged her to return on her adventures and try to find her faerie prince. Which brings her to Portus Cale where she hopes to find him again. But for now she helps the parks flourish and bloom with her magic.

She was raised around him. An older man who served as a sort of older brother or father figure for her growing up. While he is very, very protective of her she knows that he means well.

Since they built sort of a life together, she is really, very fond of him. He is also very protective of her. What with knowing her history and her past. Ever since he helped her escape he has never really left her side. He also doesn’t believe that Cornelius is what’s best for her.

Since starting to work with the other girl the two are almost always seen together. They’re both in search of a boy they met long ago. Which is why they help each other in all ways they can.

As the youngest of six sisters, one would think that she would be babied. But not in this family. Each and every girl was given the same amount of affection and attention as the others. Everything was fair and no one ever felt left out. But this family also had a dark secret. Sibella’s mother suffered from a rare condition that required her to drink blood in order to sustain her life. This was passed to each and every one of her daughters. Said to be a direct descendant of Countess Elizabeth Bathory, her mother hated her condition and often would starve herself. Though eventually, her mother resisted her blood lust until her untimely death and left her father to care for the six girls. Even then, Sibella never knew what being left out felt like. She was never once neglected.

Her father was a political man and his image was very important. And as everyone knows--secrets, secrets are no fun unless they’re shared with everyone. That being said, somehow her mother’s secret was unleashed and with that came an angry public. Calling her and her sisters monsters and one night, while Sibella and her father were at her ballet recital, they broke in and slaughtered her five sisters. Now terrified for his youngest (and now only) daughter’s safety her father made the heartbreaking decision of sending his ten year old away. Sibella was highly paranoid of everyone she met after her sister’s murder. Moving away from her father was something she didn’t know how to cope with. Especially not with attending a new school meant for...well, people like her.

Miss Grimwood was as welcoming to her as she was everyone who entered her finishing school. As it turned out, her daughter was also taken from her because of the same condition Sibella suffered from. After a while it became like a second home to her. She bonded well with the other girls and formed a stronger one with the newest addition, Winnie. However, despite her untrusting nature she was the most susceptible one to fall under Revolta’s spell. She was also the one who was prone to question whether it really happened when the spell was broken. However, this made her even more weary of others. Upon graduation from Miss Grimwood’s, Sibella and Winnie decided to uproot and leave that realm. A feeble attempt to start anew as they continued their education. But with this new place under siege of war who knows what will happen next.

It was an instant bond that brought the two together. She feels rather protective of the younger girl. Never really traveling far from her. It seems as thought she adopted the other girls as a substitute for the ones she lost. But there’s no bond stronger that the one she has with Winnie.

Despite the obvious war between the school that they attended, he always made a point to be kind to Sibella. Over the years it became a little more than obvious that the boy had eyes for her. Going above and beyond to try and make sure she was safe and stable. However, she sees him only as an acquaintance and feels sorry that she doesn’t have the same feelings that he does.

Oh, how silly of me! I’m Snow White. ||

Born in a wealth Vietnamese family, little Tuyat was the joy and life of her parents. They had an old hotel chain throughout Asia, having plans to expand the company and reach Europe as well. When her mother died, her father thought that Tuyat needed a motherly figure while growing up, so he married a woman named Ramilda, a German lady that made all men turn their heads to look at her. At the beginning the stepmother tried to conceal her true nature by being loving and caring towards her step daughter, but when her father died on a terrible accident, Ramilda begun to show her true intentions. Tuyat was forced to do the house job, and instead of learning how to manage her family’s business the little girl was only allowed to study normal subjects, the ones she had on school.

Poor Tuyat was forced to do all her house work, and sometimes she wouldn’t even have time for studying. Nonetheless she was still the face of her father’s company, so whenever Ramilda had a big reunion she had to be there. Because of it, Tuyat went with her to Germany, there she met a boy named Florian. He was everything Tuyat had dreamed of about, but she couldn’t pursue it, she had bigger problems rather than just fall for a boy. Her stepmother tried to poison her, first with  comb, then with a dress, but she finally succeed it with an apple pie. Ever since, Tuyat go to a variety of doctors and no one can discover what she did to poison her, they only agree that maybe it had something to do with the zany experiments. Her kidney started to fail along with some other organs. 

Tuyat ran away from her stepmother, trying to save her life. She was adopted by a German family, with seven sons. They changed her name to Svelda Schenee. Now Svelda and her brothers changed to Portus Cale, she’s studying to be a doctor and finally be able to discover what’s wrong with her and how to save herself. She also wants to get back her father’s  hotel chain once again, but for now, her main concern is not dying from her organs.

A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you ||

Dainty and delicate are some words used to describe the little girl. Her parents were older and hippies that encouraged their daughter to be anything she wanted to be. Raised to be polite and above all else to be true to herself. Minnie was her parents only child and as such got everything she ever asked for. But this never made her spoiled or entitled. Minnie was a dream come true and her parents were more supportive of her and her dreams than they were of each other. As she grew older, she was loved far and wide by all that encountered her. She was sweet as pie and had an infectious smile and laugh. No one could resist the girl’s charm. Not that she ever tried to be anything other than herself. As she grew older, Minnie was as beautiful as she was sweet. Having suitor after suitor try to win her over. But she never cared much for all the love letters and declarations of love. She wanted to live her life.

Eventually, she heard in school that there was other realms outside of their own and Minnie wanted to explore them. But the farthest she ever got was to another city by the name of Portus Cale. Too scared to really get out there despite the encouragement by her parents. Minnie was in awe at the splendor nonetheless and eventually made friends with a girl named Daisy. The two came from drastically different backgrounds. But they were as close as sisters. Daisy was haughty and Minnie tried her best to get her friend to be a little nicer to others. Then came the day that she was introduced to all of Daisy’s friends. As always, she was loved by each and every one. But the one that Minnie was most fond of was Mickey. The two hit it off almost immediately and they started spending every available moment together.

However, despite being hippies, her parents were not a fan of Mickey. He was different from the rest and it didn’t take long for Minnie to learn why. One night he told her (or showed her) that he harbored magic. While she was memorized by his ability, her parents were anti-magic folk and forbid her from ever seeing him again. However, that never stopped her from sneaking out to see him. One night he came to her bedroom window and told her about a man named Yen Sid. He could help Mickey harness his magic and learn how to use it properly! Mickey told her that he was leaving this realm in search of him. But eventually he ended up right back in Portus Cale and locked the city down. Now there was no chance that Minnie could see other realms.

It is better to be hated for what you are, than loved for what you are not ||

I’m the lost princess, aren’t I ||

As a rainbow baby, it was only fitting that her people rejoiced upon her birth. Her parents had been trying for a baby for years. But once they conceived it would never last. Her mother’s health was never stable enough to withstand a pregnancy and with that she would lose the baby fairly early on. Which was why when Rapunzel was conceived they tried not to get their hopes up. Once they surpassed the first trimester, things seemed to be looking better for them and they soon welcomed a healthy baby girl into the world. Though their happiness was short lived. The secret to her mother’s health was granted by a magic herb that only grew in the garden of a witch. But when her father had asked for it to help them, they were rejected and turned away.

The night of Rapunzel’s birth the witch realized what had happened and in turn sneaked into their home and stole the baby girl. An eye for an eye. She raised the baby as her own, locked away in a tower so no one could find them. Though it didn’t take long for the witch to find that her “daughter” had magical hair that glowed and healed upon singing a special song. The witch, or Gothel as was her name, was growing old and frail and thus used the child’s powers to heal her and help her remain young and beautiful. Each day, she would leave Rapunzel alone in the tower for hours as she went to retrieve things that they should need. With all the time by herself, Rapunzel gathered hobbies and talents such as painting. Coating the walls of her tower.

On her birthday each year, the city would release thousands of lanterns in her honor. Hoping that they might lead the precious girl back home. When she turned eighteen she begged her Gothel to let her go see them in person. But she was turned away and mocked. Which was why when a young man found her once Gothel was away from the tower, Rapunzel demanded that he take her to see them and in return she would help him gain the wealth he dreamed of. Of course, it was only a matter of time until Gothel found that her ticket to remaining young was gone. She found that the boy’s name was Flynn (or Eugene to her) and together they worked to avoid returning to the tower once they caught word that they were being saught after. Bringing them both to Portus Cale in hopes that maybe they could remain low key enough to evade being caught.

They don’t seem to have much in common and in fact they often times fight and argue about trivial things. But since they live together that’s to be expected, right? Overall, they take care of each other at all costs.

Her long standing best friend that followed to make sure she was safe. When Gothel was away for long periods of time often times he would come stay with her for some company. Living in the next town over he was never far away.

A caged bird is all she was ever seen as from the moment her mother passed. As soon as she breathed her first breath of life that was when her mother breathed her last. This tragic turn of events led her father to be nothing but a nervous wreck. Keeping his little girl locked away inside. Never to see the outside world the way she was meant to. As she grew older, Sally never really saw her dad. He would lock himself away in their basement trying to invent different contraptions and come up with a cure for her. Sally, like her mother, inherited a gene that caused her to quite literally fall apart at the seams. Of course, there was always a way for her to put herself back together. That was never the issue. However, once she became pregnant her days would be numbered and after the umbilical cord was cut she would die. Just like her mother had.

Her father had began to run himself so ragged that he began to lose sight of what really mattered. He started spending less and less attention to what Sally was doing and as a result she found that she could sneak away. Of course, she was eventually found out and bars were placed on her bedroom window, preventing her from sneaking out. But this didn’t stop her. Sally would drug her father and knock him out for hours just so she would slip away for a taste of freedom. Sneaking just a touch of nightshade in her father’s dinner each night. Only enough to render him unconscious. Then she would slip out the front door and return before he came to. It was on one of these nights were she met Jack. While the two had lived next to each other for years they had never met. He was excitable and adventurous and everything that Sally was not.

The two formed a bond unlike one she thought was possible and before she knew it they were spending nearly every night together. However, her time in the moonlight was coming to an end as Jack revealed that he planned on leaving their realm. Searching for a way to make it snow where they lived. In their city it was autumn year round and he had read of this season called winter which peaked his insatiable curiosity. Sally knew that it would only end badly. But there was no changing Jack’s mind and rather than waste anymore breath on trying to convince him otherwise, sh went with him. Coming to a stop in Portus Cale where she took a job as a seamstress. Though she still keeps a close eye on her friend. Someone has to make sure he doesn’t cause anymore trouble.

As the founder of their realm’s son, Jack only wants to make things better for their own city in their realm. She knows that he means well but she knows that he goes after everything without thinking and it’s her job to be the level headed one between the two.

At first, the two didn’t seem to get along all that well. Sally wanted to keep her distance and kept to herself. But over time the two have formed a rather sister like friendship. Even if she makes the other girl pull her hair out with out shy and fickle she is.

How can I let up now when I'm so close? || 

Born and raised in New Orleans, Tiana has that lovely Southern Belle style and accent, even if she can’t see it herself. Coming from a very poor family, Tiana always had both of her feet on the ground, knowing that she had to battle to have her little share of the world. Her father, continuously fed her dreams about opening a big restaurant and the little girl got better and better at cooking. Her family never lacked money per say, only because of the La Bouff’s help. Ever since she can remember, Eli La Bouff hires her mother to sew his daughter Charlotte dresses. Lottie would have lots and lots of fancy dresses made by her mother. Even in a city where racism is a thing, Charlotte never saw Tiana as someone who doesn’t deserve her friendship. The two little girls became friends, rather like sisters, and therefore, Charlotte always helped Tiana with everything she needed, of course Tiana didn’t like it, but Lottie made it in ways that she couldn’t say no, like hiring her to cook in parties or even for her tea parties.

Since she can remember, the girl has been saving money to open her own restaurant, and the perfect opportunity appeared when Charlotte hires her to cook in one of her parties all over again. There Tiana found out that she wouldn’t be able to do it, because the rentals wanted someone older and with more experience to administrate their location. In such a distress, Charlotte took her from the party, but the girl wanted to be by herself. The young woman was taken aback when a frog spoke to her, asking for a kiss to come back to be a man. Tiana couldn’t believe in her own eyes, but he promised to help her with more money, so she smooched him, and ended up turning into a frog as well.

However her curse was milder than his, Tiana would only turn herself into a frog once a month, at the first new moon. Meanwhile, Tiana and Naveen and other friend joined their forces to take down the shadow man, especially because he has Evangeline on his hands. Tiana knows that deep down Evangeline is a good person and will do everything in her power to free her from his grasp. The gang followed Facilier to Portus Cale, a city where magic is real, Tiana and Naveen hope to end their curse and finally be normal again.
