“I really like this because I was able to take a little sneak peek into the time at Marugame before opening hours, a moment that not many people are able to see or pay that much attention to. It's an intimate shot, the calm before the storm, before the hustle and bustle of the day starts.”
“This image is really interesting to me because it's a double-edged sword of sorts. The subject, Jesus on the cross, can evoke feelings of both awe and fear. Whether one cowers or reveres His presence, the placement of Him high in the air really adds to the effect that He is watching over us, which can be interpreted in whatever way one prefers, be it good or bad.”
