[It'd been stupid- of all the sports to play in gym, it had to be volleyball. That and a kid named Mitch Thurber were the reason Henry was where he was- trudging down the hall, reddening kleenex to his nose, nurses pass in the other hand, bruise forming by his eyes, not even bothering to look up.]
Back in Black // OPEN
It'd been a while, hadn't it? More than a while. But he was back. Back from his hiatus in Ireland- a chaste escape he'd been dreaming of for months previous.
Azazeal Angeles strode with an air of confidence down the street- one hand jammed in the pocket of his worn coat, the other bringing a cigarette to his lips for yet another draw off the thing. His hair was, as usual, a mess- curls looped around and haloed his pallid features- though he'd pulled them all back into something of a ponytail. His eyes gleamed their peculiar shade of sulphur- the whites of which hadn't yet spilled black- behind black shades.
His wings were tucked away in his coat and he insured that not a hint of the plumage could be seen by any of the humans meandering around him.
He was clad in evidently new clothes- a black button up rather than his tacky t-shirts. His ridiculously tight jeans had been replaced with a newer, tighter pair, black denim that basically clung to his hips and thin legs.
And so he walked, glancing about one occasion, searching the crowd for people that stuck out, or for people of some familiarity to him.
"Well this is... different." Dan looked at himself in the mirror, a frown on his face. "I didn't remember how having active teenagers hormones felt like. Do I look really this bad?" He looked back, pointing at himself.
London shops are rubbish.
And yet I still got something from every shop I've been in. I've got a Rubik's cube, a Matryoshka doll, and something called falafel. This isn't good. Someone needs to distract me.
