“But Camelot needs me. There is a war we are fighting, Daniel. An army I must command.” She saw a shimmer of hope in him, and the words that she said left a bitter taste in her mouth.

"Gwen, how long have you been here? One month? The people do not expect you to be back. I know what's desesperation, and they've lost their queen." Said him taking her hand. "Paris, you; and me. I could get you a job in a musical bar or something... Your voice, they will love it."

The question took her by surprise. She definitely was not expecting that when he came out from the bathroom, “Nothing…. Just some myths I like to read.” That was not entirely true. The book was her father’s. Like her, he had a journal and Kristen read it everyday. If something happened to it, she wouldn’t be able to live with herself. The book was her only true link to her dad. Though she was good at lying. She lied as easily as she breathed, “Don’t worry about it, though. Do you like reading?” Kristen liked novels and literature. She allowed herself to get influenced by a few books once in a while. She sometimes reread them, too.

He allowed himself to get closer to her. Confusion grew inside him as he saw greek golden letters, warning signs and complicated drawings. His eyes followed the lines made of pencil. Then he gazed back at her. Something in her breath, and in her heartbeat made him frown. It got accelerated, though he didn't comment a thing about it. Daniel slightly nodded at her question; truth was that reading and painting were the only things that got him out of his endless problems. Novels were entertaining for him, specially old ones. He wanted to know more about the decades he didn't live.

“But I can’t…you and I both know that. I don’t belong here, Daniel,” she barely managed to say. She didn’t want to say it. But she had to. She had no choice.

"We'll run. Paris, New York, Tokio, Barcelona..." Hope shining in his eyes, he told her. They could run, hunters would never find them. And she didn't have to go back to Camelot. It was perfect, almost like a dream.

She looked up from the cup when he went out of the bathroom. And again she tried not to blush, “Um, no matter how much I drink I never get a headache so……” It was probably one of those supernatural perks, not getting a headache. “If that’s what you were talking about anyway.” She raised the glass as if to say it’s alright . She got up from her bed and went over to the green book she had been trying to find the whole day. It made her giggle how she didn’t think of looking downstairs. Putting the glass down on the table, she turned back around.

Daniel analized carefully each one of his facial features. His eyes looked a light greener than the usual, his skin looked darker because of the darker freckles. He looked older. Why was he caring about his looks now? What effect she had on him? Her honey gaze made him melt, and he felt happy. Yes; he didn't worry about anything. He felt happy. Dan smirked at the thought while putting on the clothes fastly and cleaning the bathroom. He got out of the room and looked at her. "What it is about?" Does she feel what I feel? Thoughts made his eyes blurry. "The book, I mean." Daniel approached her with a smile.

Guinevere couldn’t contain herself any longer. She through her arms around Daniel and burst into tears, burying her head in his shoulder. “I’m so sorry, D.” she said in between sobs. “I don’t want to go.”

"Stay." Though it was a selfish option, he wanted her to stay. The people of her kingdom needed her. Though he still wanted her for his own. "Stay..." He only could mutter.

“My idea of a good time is not singing…..” She said, but he was already off. She doubted he had heard her. She was about to say something else until she heard the water running. She sighed and turned back to the drinks. She felt the need to drink all of them. But of course she restrained herself. Slowly she picked up one bottle and poured herself a drink. Making her way over to the bed, she sat down, drink in her hands. By the time she finished her drink she heard the shower stop. Wow, he showers fast. She thought to herself.

Daniel got out of the shower and took the towel. He looked around fastly; the clothes weren't there. He put the towel on how he could and opened the door of the bathroom. "The one that is going to have a headache is you." His voice said, as he entered fastly to grab his things. His lips formed a smile, then he entered again in the room. Looking at himself in the mirror, he still did not looked good for himself. He looked tired, without energy; though his body felt active.

She was going to miss him. He was the closest thing she had to family in such a long time…she didn’t want to lose that. “And rain will make the flowers…”

"Will make the flowers..." As they finished the sentence, Daniel's sadness got over his eyes forming crystal tears. "Grow."

She now began to laugh. She hadn’t laughed in a while, at least not a real laugh. “You have such a good voice, I could probably hear you sing all day. I’d pay for every concert you had.” She giggled some more before finally stopping. What was he trying to indicate? She made a face that showed her confusion. A few moments of confusing passed until she finally understood, “Oh I am not singing.” She backed out of the bathroom and went to take a drink. There was no way in hell she was going to sing, not even if her life depended it on it. She could be in the most Gods forsaken moment and she wouldn’t sing. She vowed to herself she would never, and if he didn’t understand that, then her feelings were a lie.

He followed her out of the bathroom, all of sudden; there he was, sitting next to her shirtless expecting her to change her ideas. What a gentleman he would be if he forced her? He just whispered. "I am not going to force you, just let yourself to spend a good time." A smirk appeared on his lips, and he was gone back to the bathroom. Daniel just pulverized in the air like the ashes. The water started falling from the shower as he got inside, all his bones relaxing; a sigh escaping his lips as the water fell on his shoulders.

“…Hurt me now. Your here, that’s all I need to know.” Gwen sang back, her voice clear yet trembling the slightest as she fought back tears. This was suppose to be a happy time and yet—

Guinevere laughed softly, trying her best to lighten the mood. “I’m sure we will Daniel, you never know…fate it a tricky thing.”

"I guess... This is a goodbye then. Why I feel like we're going to meet again?"

She tried not to blush when he took off his shirt. Quickly she got him a towel and gave it to him. “Nice tattoo. And you look fine.” She smiled when he sang, “You have a nice voice.” Him singing reminded Kristen of when she once did. She swallowed the lump in her throat. She hated the time where she actually ate the people she lured into her trap. Only shortly after that had she begun hunting vampires and werewolves. And only 3 millennia after had she stopped. She wondered what he would say if she told him. Why she cared, she didn’t know why. And something told her the answer would be even worse.

"A heart full of song..." He looked at her, smiling. With the special tone of voice she had; he knew perfectly that she had a precious voice. "I'm doing everything all wrong..." He sang and grabbed the towel that she gave him. His hand went to make a signal to her. Continue. His thoughts said. Daniel loved singing, and no matter what she sang; he would like it. He dropped the towels and offered a hand to her, like in a vals. Daniel's lips formed a teasing smirk. He was not getting out of that bathroom without hearing her sing.

So Guinevere has said bye to Klaus….and now she just needs to say bye to Daniel. And then she’s gone.

She followed him as he went into the bathroom. She always thought he looked good. She just never allowed herself to admit it. “That’s because you don’t. If you want you can take a shower or something if you must. I can get you a towel and everything.” She offered a smile. She wondered if he believed in love. She knew she she hadn’t believed in love, though she had begun to question that when she met him.

He smirked at her and nodded, "It would be lovely, I look... just unacceptable." He laughed and looked down. While taking off his shirt, he looked at the big tattoo he wore on his back; the tattoo that created him. Why he cared so much for her opinion? For how she felt? Maybe he just liked the girl. Though inside him; the spark of love told him the obvious. "A heart full of love..." He sang. Maybe all the love wasn't only for Eponine, but was for Kristen.
