AHAH yeah to be honest, there isn’t much in our house that isn’t covered in Sailor Moon art, but to be fair, Makoto is a big reason I’m into the fighting, and Saturn is why I love glaives, so it fits! ^_^

Any good recommendations for orange dice? Just need orange before I have all the colors in the rainbow :)

Personally, I love Chessex vortex in either orange or solar--really pretty bright oranges with enough of a mix to keep them visually interesting :D You could also try lustrous bronze for a bright orange shimmer!

Also, I feel like refusing Fair Folk food would be ten times as difficult when you only have access to dining hall food. Like I would legitimately sell my soul for better fruits and veggies and the /good/ cheese and crackers.

The EU dining hall is actually pretty good, especially when it comes to fresh produce! This is largely to benefit changeling students, but everyone benefits.

IT IS REQUIRING A SERIOUS EFFORT ON MY PART, and reminds me that I also need to spend some time making OCs have feelings about each other with you, because this stuff is kind of hard and writing with friends is, like, heart and creativity fuel!

We are LONG overdue a catch-up!! I’d also love the chance to pick your brain on world-building stuff, oh queen of lore and narrative coherence, because wow this stuff is hard. And I am more of a make it up as you go along and hope no one squints at it too hard kind of writer. So some light workshopping maybe and mostly visiting, because I miss you, friend. <3 <3

Ooooh, a neutral color means the sky’s the limit! I’d go with something deep and rich like crimson or sapphire blue or magenta, but a neon (or several) might also be nice!

Hmm. I’m thinking a primary shade like red, blue, or green might be pretty and give it a unique look.A few things to consider: is it a warm yellow or a cool one? Pastel or vivid? I’d go red for a warm yellow, blue for a cool one, green for a neutral.

This is such an amazing setting and as a freshman in college are very near and dear to my heart. I'm part of the tabletop/board game crowd, and I could just imagine how much trouble I would get into at EU. The Gentry love their games, of course; these human games are so quaint with their human rules, the lack of consequence. Most of the board game club gets by without too much notice, unless they add some particularly interesting rules to a game. The real ones to watch out for are the GMs. (1/3)

They are too creative, and a little too much like the fey: they create worlds to entrance their players like puppetmasters with limitless string. And the fey are cats; they can’t help but play occasionally. It’s not uncommon to have an uncomfortable presence at a particularly good D&D session. The cautious roleplayers line the table with salt, just before the snack pile. The most reckless DMs use silver d20s. Their campaigns are exhilarating; they are often deadly. (2/3)            

Oh, the dice; they are the best and worst talismans in EU. They are too extreme, with so much of each kind luck packed into their too many sides. If you see a student gambling with a twenty-sided die, be very, very afraid. (3/3)             

This is so beautiful and I want to hear so much more about the Gentry playing D&D for huge stakes - playing for your life, even, like the old stories of dealing with Death, except what is losing, really? And it will buy you time, at the very least.
