14.5 13:17, finally a time I can at least be kinda proud about. Thrusters are a strength and so far I’m in the lead at my box by 2 minutes
Alternated 3x5@275 each of sumo deadlift and conventional, about 1:30 rest between
Kroc(ish) kb rows 3x20 The heaviest we have is 70 so I just did 20s with them with a little English
14.5 looks fun to me
since I did a similar one a Tuesday. I got almost through the 18 round in 8 minutes and was trying to stay steady the whole time. That was ascending though, so we will see how starting with 21s goes.
Workout 03/22/2014
14.4 14 min amrap 60 cal row 50 toes to bar 40 wall balls 30 cleans @135 20 muscleups 180, fucking pissed and I feel like I've been disappointed in myself every wod so far but I've had something that has actually held me back for the other 3 so far. This one I just needed to nut up and quit being a bitch. Paced out the row to come off at about 3:30 though I came out a bit hot on the first 30 cal. T2b weren't that bad, I maintained sets of 5 for most of it, though they were still slower than I wanted. I probably could have gone faster through the wallballs but I tried to use them as my rest for cleans but by the time I got to the cleans I bitched out. I just turned and stared at the bar... Had to rush my last 12 cleans just to finish them within the time cap.
I need a muscle up. That's what makes the biggest separation in this wod and I have worked my ass of making sure I have at least a few whenever I get to the ends of wods because I knew that's when I was going to need them. I just need more than 2 seconds to get one.
