I rewatched Operation Bumblebee part 2 and... Okay they lose the forge and immediately after Ratchet calls to tell Optimus "Hey so uh your adopted son with a missing organ just ran back to fight the people who took it in the first place, practically unarmed, when I was in an induced coma."

OPTIMUS'S EYE TWITCHES AT THE NEWS. I'M DYING.

God I love his subtle expressions. That small moment of internal 'oh no... our already bad day just got so much worse.'

I mean I can't blame him poor mech is 100% stressed out of his mind. His mental health is barely held together with toothpicks and craft glue and the love he has for his team.

I’m rewatching “Operation Bumblebee: Part 1″ on Netflix

I forgot how much hilarious body language that episode featured. Given that Bumblebee is mostly non-verbal, I wonder if that was intentional?

His doorwings react to his moods. Poor Bee. (This version is probably the most endearing Bumblebee out of any of the other shows and movies I’ve seen, frankly.) And Ratchet getting all flaily-armed when Bee wants to “go for a walk”. He’s probably the next expressive after Bee in this episode.

Operation Bumblebee reminds me of the plot/subplot? Of Transformers: Age of Extinction.

So when I was watching Operation Bumblebee, and saw Starscream spending the whole fight viciously taunting Bumblebee, then finishing by destroying his t-cog (well, almost, but he thought he had and that's what counts here) instead of trying further to get it back, and then finally running off with a parting jab instead of trying to actually kill Bumblebee... I was reminded of something.

Wait, why did Ratchet think Megatron wasn't ghoulish enough to remove Bumblebee's T-Cog, when Megatron had no qualms in the past with removing Bumblebee's voicebox?
