It's been a while, and I returned with the opening animation!
I participated in a contest called GIGDC. I will upload a short gameplay video soon.

M16 from my good friend GreenL3gacy’s project, Operation Echo!
Looking forward to see more news from him
EDIT: Drawing fixed!
Operation ECHO is a Metal Slug and Megaman inspired run n’ gun side scrolling shoot ‘em up that devs have somehow managed to build in the GZDoom engine!

I recently tried through Super Dude Shooter, and WOW!! After so many different attempts, finally someone did a platformer in doom that handles really well? Great job!! Any desire to go back to it and expand on it, maybe make something Megaman-styled with it? :)
Thank you very much!
Super Dude-Shooter has always kind of been in the back of my mind, it’s something I would really like to expand on without a looming gamejam time limit. The question is really thinking of something to actually make with it.
In the meantime, if you’d like to play more with it, @greenlegacy has taken the system and expanded on it dramatically to create his own game, Operation Echo.
Please feel free to tell him what you think!
Name: Operation Echo (WIP) Author: GreenLegacy Game: N/A Source port: GZDoom Type: Game (demo) Link: https://gamejolt.com/games/OPECHO/328831 Release date: April 1, 2018
A 2D run-and-gun platformer inspired by Metal Slug and Megaman, play as a robot in 21XX fighting off aliens. Features the usual platforming trappings, such as multiple weapons, character assists, platforming, dashing, multi-directional aiming, and more, making it all the more amazing that it’s done on GZDoom.
Animation progress.
Leah Run & Stumble.
There is still a need to polish.
Currently, I implemented a tutorial screen and added destructible objects to the level.
