Anonymous kündigt Facebook Attacke für 5. November an Das international agierende Hacker-Kollektiv Anonymous sorgt auf einem neuen Video für Aufsehen. Derzeit wendet sich die Gruppe via YouTube-Video an die „Bürger dieser Welt“. Darin kündigen sie an, dass sie das Soziale Netzwerk Facebook „töten“ wollen. Grund für den geplanten „Anschlag“ auf das gut 750 Millionen Mitglieder umfassende Netzwerk sind nach Angaben von Anonymous die laxen Datenschutzbestimmungen der Zuckerberg-Plattform. Die Hacker werfen Facebook vor, die Daten seiner User an Regierungen weiter zu verkaufen. Eine Ausspionierung der Bürger sei dadurch nur allzu leicht möglich. Als Konsequenz kündigt eine Computerstimme nun an, dass man Facebook am 5. November 2011 „töten“ wolle. Denn trotzt strenger Privatsphäreneinstellungen oder löschen des Accounts bleiben am Ende sämtliche Daten bei Facebook erhalten. Jederzeit könnte sich das Netzwerk also bei seinen Usern „bedienen“ und wüsste am Ende wahrscheinlich mehr über jeden einzelnen als dessen Familie. Mit Hilfe der „Operation Facebook“ soll Facebook nun zum „Wohle der Privatsphäre“ getötet werden. Both Pages propagate a completely different approach: REFORM and MODIFICATION instead of 'destroying' this social network.

There are over 700 MILLION Facebook users and there's no way that opfacebook video or choosing to delete a couple FB accounts is going to even make a DENT in the user base OR bring down its servers in any capacity and besides all that what's your alternative?  Twitter? Okay I'll give you that, I do enjoy a good tumble.. but it most definitely has a couple bugs left to work out on its interface, an improved messaging system wouldn't hurt, not to mention a little "s" action at the end of the http would be a hell of a lot more secure especially for the summerfags out there tumbling this ridiculous "op" video and trolling the media with it as if it's going to change anything. You'd be better off closing your fb account and going to hang out on reddit. You might actually learn something or get trolled into a coma.
