#OperationPinocchio • I really fancy my (old) singing voice, and I'm gonna miss it dearly. I wish I'd done one of those contrived voice comparison videos or something to see if it's psychosomatic or an actual physical change. Guess it's time to start my posting videos on YouTube again or something. There's a real lack of agender transition videos. I have only found 2 POC accounts and they're both from Australia. Anything and everything is better than the problematic hyper-masculine teenage transguy videos where a skinny 15yo white boy attempts to instruct me on how to "pass." Gag. Glad it's there for those who need/want that, but I think I'd rather eat glass and dive into Lady Bird Lake than sit thru another transition video featuring unrelatable white teens. Unpacking Masculinity

It’s hard. It’s so very very hard.

This friend didn't actually puke at the the idea of me confronting my masculinity and digging around in that baggage. They actually had been feeling sick earlier. It just so happened that their body reaction aligned with my own thinking about unpacking my gender expression and identity.

I guess is what I’m calling this weird impatient flux state between me and future me. The inconsistencies and gaps are really taking their toll on my mental and emotional health. But I do have hope that soon I’ll be able to navigate the legal and medical systems in a way that will finally start helping me feel more whole in my transition journey.
