After a very long week and a very successful collegiate singers concert, I can proudly say concert #1 for this season is in the books! 2 weeks from today is Troy University's Opera Workshop performance and I'm looking forward to it! Please come out and enjoy a lovely evening of not only beautiful singing, but incredible dancing as well, as we have teamed up with some of the dance department! I had a really amazing voice day.

Lots of good compliments and new things to work on and incorporate into my performances.  I really needed a confidence booster.

Today's OpShop rehearsal was literally one of the worst of my life. I had JP pick me up after and sobbed for like an hour.  I've never been so disappointed in/ashamed of myself.  The stress of "sfere" goes on the 'sfe-'.  I'll never forget that now, but Jesus fucking Christ what a way to learn it. It was like being stabbed repeatedly in the soul with the same directors note, over and over again.  Never again. 

Don't ever let anyone tel you opera isn't hard.  They don't know shit.
