Summary “Luffy hates being alone, but he understood when his peers asked him to wait until they were ready for the journey.” A semi-realistic, comedic, hopeful twist on what the Straw Hats would dream of in a modern world, and how they would fight for it.

I am way too stressed about this fic and I shouldn't have proofread it as much as I did. I hope you guys will like it >_<

hello there! to participate in the event, all you need to do is post your work and tag us in it. if you are posting your work on ao3, we will soon be making a collection for the event in which you can add your work. there is no discord server for the event, so you don't need to worry ^^ we're so happy that you're thinking of participating in the event, and we can't wait to see what you have in store for us!

(extra hcs: • law doesn't have road rage usually. he does try to kill doflamingo a couple of times, though.

• doffy has no interest in slime asmr. but he knows that law hates asmr videos and plays it on repeat when it's his turn to play songs

• law's ideal road trip would be spent in peaceful silence for the most part, and he really tries to stay quiet to not raise to doflamingo's bait to piss him off. in the end, he cannot help but start screaming obscenities at doffy)
