   When he sings that stupid song. it’s not a joke. everyone looks to him to be this perky cartoon gimic, but for once in his life he just wants to be the FROG that he is. Oscar the grouch can be however he chooses to be, but is it simply because he has GROUCH in his name. The cookie monster can gorge himself silly and eat every part of his feelings. 

And well... don’t get him started on miss piggy or the RIDICULOUS BEAR.  No he’ll bide his time until his contract is up and then give every one of those assholes the finger then shove gonzo’s nose where they won’t want it. no. it’s certainly not easy being green.

The weather had been scorching as fuck the last few days, and their food supply was running low. He wished that he could have done better, if only for the person he’d chosen to hide on a no-name planet with, but Richard B. Riddick was nothing if not honest.

Honest said that he might have chosen to be less sharp with Jack.

And honest told him that the scuffle they’d gotten into might have been prevented.

“Hey.” 

If it had been nearly anyone else, what Riddick would’ve offered would have been a shiv, point-first.

Instead, he held a piece of cloth out, wet slightly with what they could spare for the moment. “Dirt on your cheek.” And if he reached out to make the first wipe away from the young girl’s face, there was no one else to bear testament to that.

Tarek and Sophie had split, and he hadn’t been in any shape to see what was waiting for them up on the penthouse floor. Now he was nursing a glass of something crimson.                 "Someone saw her crawling out of the sewers but she hasn’t shown up.”

miscellaneous angst starters.

“What if that’s not up to YOU, Rook?” Came the nervous reply paired with the anxious smile that seemed to find its way on his lips more often since he’d been rescued. Staci used to be confident bordering on arrogant at times. Always a nice enough guy but prideful and the Seeds had seen to that. Pride that had come from trying to overcome his insecurities and those were all that he was left with now. Stronger now but a bit of an unhinged wreck. His time with Jacob had not gone smoothly nor kindly. 

Eyes housed dark circles under them. Sleep had been damn near impossible since he’d started staying in the Whitetail compound and a tired Pratt did not provide any improvement on his new found paranoia. “He--He did things to me. -- He’s in my head,” he sounded frustrated as he pushed his longer hair behind his ears. “He said things. Told me things. The Father isn’t wrong. He isn’t crazy. Something is coming Johnne. He says you’re the one who can stop it. You. Only you.” Those words sent him taking a half stepping back as he looked around, looking off into the distance like he wasn’t really here in the bunker. 

“You know the fucked up part in all this?” He laughed, actually laughed. It was just a touch manic sounding. Barring teeth but not quite in a smile, Pratt shrugged. “I can’t tell if I’m really here or not. Like this is just a good dream that I’m gonna wake up from and be right back there with him.” Staci’s hands furled and unfurled at his sides frantically. “How am I supposed to know, Rook? How am I supposed to be certain of anything?”

👀 Is my muse the type to sleep around?

Before her embrace, Imogen wasn’t really that interested in sleeping around, she was more focused on her studies and working on applying for her PhD. Even where Tommy Parker was concerned she only ever dated him and hung out occasionally, but their relationship only got that far twice. After her embrace, however, you could say she had a bit of a downward spiral and used sex as a coping mechanism, but also because it made for an easy way for her to feed. Since then, Imogen’s more fully embraced the idea of sexual freedom, and still uses it as her primary method of feeding, as well as having a long-standing friends-with-benefits relationship with Nicholas Brom, her ghoul.

👎 Would my muse ever cheat on their partner?

Before her embrace, it wasn’t something she would have considered. She was happy to enter a relationship with Tommy and commit herself to that. The only reason she got tangled up with Robert Bower was because Robert considered her disinterest a challenge, and used whatever charm, Discipline or blood magic he had to steal her. Today, monogamy isn’t on the cards for Imogen in any sense, as she refuses to let herself have love again as it’s a big liability she doesn’t want to take a chance on having.

🎀 Who would my muse sleep with if nobody ever had to know?

In 2004, that person would be Romero in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Nowadays, if you were to ask, it never happened, and there isn’t really anyone else she can think of that would come up to par to that in terms of embarrassing sexual relations even if it was a one-off.

💘 What are the ways my muse says ‘I love you’ without actually saying it?

Imogen tends to have a brisk manner to her, spouting sarcasm as a result of her experiences making her more and more jaded over the years. But she’ll be the first to tend your wounds if you need it, having received first aid training from her dad, a doctor, and being more than capable of cleaning wounds and applying stitches. It’s perhaps the most outstanding example of expressing care beyond be mindful of simple courtesies.
