Comments: *Hauls a tree dragon pair out of storage*
They’ve been waiting for a new breed :D
Geneva is a third generation primal eyed tree dragon; her father Lazaretto and his father Serre were both also born in my lair, with primal eyes (and yes I have them, their mates, and Serre’s parents all still in my lair). When Geneva was born 5 months ago, I very happily put her aside in hibernal (along with a suitable mate) to regene once there was a new breed, and hopefully one day have a primal-eyed child of her own to carry on the line.
Her colours are a bit tricky to work with, but then so were Lazaretto’s. After trying out a bunch of genes on her I decided I liked the look of savannah more than any of the newer genes or other parallel genes, that saddle was nifty looking, and sailfin was a must-have for a tree dragon pair (with her colouration it’s making me think of sea grass as much as fins). Which means her mate Onaping also needs a gem gene tert, so he’s getting tentacles. The other two for him I have yet to work out (need to look at comparative rarities and suchlike).

"it is surmised that the only reason they have not killed one another off is due to their pattern of splintering into sects"
What are your headcanons for Serthis sect culture or religion? A sect dedicated to dragon worship, thus all becoming familiars? A sect of archivists who try to preserve the old knowledge? Something else entirely? Let us know!
Familiars 21-30
Jean and Marco, twin brothers. Chose the familiars because these two are sassy condescending featherbutts, and the serthis is THE most condescending gossipy looking familiar I can think of haha. Bonus, it comes in matching colors.
