obesity + overweight cats thing; one of my cats (not princess izzy) has a digestive disorder (which she had before we got her due to her being a rescue and from a terrible home previously) and medication that fluctuates her weight a lot!! so it's important to keep an eye on ur animals diets if they're on any sort of medication that might slow/change their metabolic rate!! (this goes 4 spaying + neutering too)

oh for sure! on a semi-related note, Pangur started losing weight last winter, so I brought her in and learned her teeth were causing her pain & would eventually have to be removed. it’s good to monitor weight changes :(
