I'm Calling Shenanigans: Tactful Expression of Opinion
I'm sorry to cloud up the dash with this.
I don't normally call people out, but after seeing this rubbish on my dash, I feel this needs to be said.
Yes, it is your blog. No, I don't have to follow you or look at your blog. In fact, I even have the right to block you and report you for spam and harassment if I so choose.
Yes, you are entitled to your opinion. Yes, you do have freedom of speech.
However, there is a tactful way to express said opinion without coming off like an ignoramus. You, dear infantile child, came off as one huge ignoramus with your Miz rant.
When you insult someone, you are not expressing an opinion. You are being a immature child when you use an insult. Calling someone a retard is considered one huge insult.
I'll be honest, I'm neither here nor there when it comes to the Miz. Would I call him a retard? NO, I would not. However, I have respect for the man due to his passion for the business. The crack about Maryse wasn't needed either. So what if they are dating? Who cares? I know I don't.
You don't have to like the Miz, but you better be prepared for the onslaught of the fans that follow you that do. Gird your loins, darling, because they are not going to put up with your nonsense.
So what if people don't like your favorite? That's how life is. If they insult him, just take it with a grain of salt. What are you going to do, tweet him excessively on Twitter? I can guarantee you that he doesn't care one wit for a fan versus fan blog fight.
Get a backbone and an argument that doesn't involve "It's my blog, either put up or shut up." Chances are, people will stop following you altogether because they're tired of your garbage. If you can respectfully give your opinion without being hurtful or insulting, you'll gain the respect you crave.
