Let me tell you a story about today.

Today I had to show goats. And after the first class, which was showmanship (judging the animal handler) I cried, because I felt like a complete failure, just because i didn't place well (5th place to be exact). I wanted to quit and go home and just kill myself.  But my mom wouldn't let me, she pushed me to keep going. So I did, no matter how sad I felt.  By the end, not only had I won grand champion, I felt stronger because I didn't give up. 

The reason I told you this is because I know you can not give up, like I did.

So here's what I want you to do:

Get out there and have fun. Play with your dog, talk to people, listen to happy music. Do whatever you can to make yourself happy.  But if I were you, I would also talk to a family member about your feelings. (If they won't listen, try a friend!) I promise it will help. 

If you need to chat tomorrow, I will download the G+ app so I can chat while I'm at the fair.

that’s actually a really good idea! I’ll see if I can doodle up something when I have some spare drawing time between my illustration work~
