Ben10tober Day 18 - Eyeguy
I did NOT remember that this guy was so top heavy.
What are your headcanons for befriending an Opticoid?
-Fun fact! Their home planet, Sightra, has a surface similar to gelatin. So your friend finds it really weird walking on the solid ground of Earth. It's kinda like when you jump on a trampoline and then step back down, like it feels like the earth should be moving. Because of this they keep complaining about how hard the ground is and how makes them feel kinda nauseous. Give them some aspirin and they'll be fine.
-You can't keep a secret from them, they can immediately see it on you if you try to lie. The smallest facial expression, the way the surface temperature of your skin changes, hell, they can even see the way your pulse picks up.
-"Did you eat the last ice cream sandwich that was in the freezer?" "...No." "I can see the way you're starting to sweat, don't lie to me."
-In return, they suck at lying. None of their eyes can ever look at you when they're saying something that's not true, not even if it's just a small white lie.
-They easily get overstimulated by sights and sounds, especially by large crowds. The sights and sounds are just so overwhelming, so most of the time the two of you hang out at home or somewhere more private. They also prefer it when the lighting is dim as it's less straining for their eyes.
-If the two of you have to do something where there's a lot of people, hold their hand. It helps grounding them. Or give them a fidget toy to distract them. Something soft and squishy preferably since it reminds them of their home planet.
-Does not like the beach! The sand always gets in their eyes and the saltwater stings! They do like the sound of waves though so they might tag along as long as they stay underneath a parasol the entire time. Sunglasses don't work for Opticoids, you know?
Finally finished number 10!!! Took some time to figure out how to get this one done. But we think it came together pretty well.
What if Gwen from Ben 10 transformed into an Opticoid? Here's my take of what that might look like for the prompt "gazing".

Ben 10
Here is Quinn's Opticoid called Eyeris, they have all the powers of a normal Opticoid but with some extra powers. he can now have his lasers shoot water out of his eye....aka his tears.
