Today, Sal and a few of us from Khan Academy visited Summit Public Schools in San Jose. It was exciting to see in action many ideas that Sal talks about in his book One World Schoolhouse. Last year, Summit implemented Khan Academy with 200 freshmen in their San Jose campus. Based on the success of that pilot, this year they are trying out a new model that takes away the traditional walls and changes the role of the teacher.
