Age: typically early 20s, depending on verse
Story: Abra is a young woman living on a small group of islands. She lives with her twin brother, Ari, who struggles with depression and other issues. Abra works to try and make her living doing art and writing, which are her passions. She lives near some woods, and knows her way around them well. She has a small garden, and a big heart. She has her own mental health issues, but knows how to handle them better than her brother, and wants to help him learn how to cope. She’s witty, cheerful, energetic, and supportive. She is asexual, and romance is only happening if she’s very close to someone. It’ll be rare.
Appearance: Abra and Ari both have silver/white/gray hair and blue eyes.
Age: typical mid to late teens, early twenties
Story: Optyx is an alien, slowly exploring the universe in their ship, looking for a planet that they think is their home. They don’t know what species they are, or where exactly they’re from. Their goal is to find out more about themself and to hopefully find friends or a family to call their own on the way. They’re skilled with metal working, and are generally very smart, though a bit socially awkward. They’re determined, and unafraid to fight for what they hold dear and for what they believe in.
Appearance: Optyx is roughly four and a half feet tall (or about 137 cm, I think. Uncertain American apologies), with blue-green skin. They have a humanoid body, with some frog-like features. They have shoulder length tendrils where a human would typically have hair. These tendrils have the ability to move, seemingly independently of Optyx, and shift color with their emotions, typically giving off a faint glow. They have large hands with webbing between their fingers. Both of their legs stop halfway between their knees and ankles, and they wear prosthetics they handmade from scrap materials they’ve found. They have big eyes, with grayish irises and pupils. They have several small, black-ish, metal installations around the areas of their eyes, which they say are small cameras that function as their eyes. They have darker green freckles across their face and body. They have a wide mouth, with sharper teeth in the front, and some duller ones in the back. They have gills over the area of their ribcage.
Story: Terryn is a bright, cheerful young woman. She lives in a smaller town with her mom and dad, who run a small grocer in the town. She does track and field, one of the fastest on her team, and is generally very athletically inclined. She loves pastel colors and cute things. She’s hard-working and competitive. Nobody in towns knows she’s adopted, or that she’s the wolf they hear in the woods some nights.
Story: Wolf is an introverted young man, who lives by himself in a small apartment. He works as a barista in the mornings, and doesn’t interact much with his neighbors or co-workers. In his home late at night, he’s often quietly working, slowly teaching himself basics of magic to control his powers, and trying to find all the information he can about the secrets of the world around him. He wants to use his magic to help the people around him, but he’s seen what happens when people who are different get found out. He will never forget that, and he knows he can’t change that. How can he keep his life a secret, and safely find people like him? Can he save anyone from the horrors that he knows are lurking in the walls?
