Opus Elysian's Policies –
1. fair pay and a legal team that will explain the contract in detail for the trainee or parents if they are minors.
2. Minors over 13 can join to be trained but cannot debut before atleast 16 and cannot wear anything inappropriate in media uptil 18.
3. Artists get 60% profits and 70% after 3 years.
4. More creative freedom, the idols get included in many decisions.
5. Opus Tokens, a reward system to encourage trainees not to get lazy and slack off. Finished learning the choreo on time? 5 Tokens earned, the more you earn, the bigger rewards you get, line-up trainees and idols get extra special perks.
6. Unlimited food, 3 full meals are EXPECTED daily, there are all kind of options, meat, vegetarian, vegan, pastries and sweets, foreign food for foreign trainees and a 24/7 snack shop.
7. 9 hours sleep mandatory for under 17, 8 for over 17.
8. practice time is limited based on health and age.
9. Outdoor garden, 1 greenhouse for vegetables, fruits and herbs. a koi fish pond, a growing Siris tree in the back and meditation spots.
10. EVERYONE eats together at mealtimes, Janitors, CEO's, idols, trainees, stylists and lawyers. (there are quiet corners so you can eat alone)
11. 1 day off weekly (sunday), 1 month off fully yearly and special holidays have paid leave as well as 3 weeks paid leave yearly to use whenever
12. New Trainees will be explained their contract fully by the Legal team (if they're underage, parents must be present), only once it has been understood fully and all doubts and questions cleared, will they allow it to be signed, the trainee/parents can take upto a week before deciding.
13. "No penalty for leaving" Clause, Trainees can leave without issues like blackmail/blacklisting/other.
14. "Sunset Clause" – After 5 years, idols can renegotiate or leave freely (no "slave contract" extensions)
15. Education for Trainees is mandatory and continued uptil 18 (unless the parent chooses otherwise), they can be homeschooled, tutored at Opus, given online lessons or get accompanied to school.
16. Staff should not comment on weight, positive or negative, nutritionists design meal plans based on health, not through appearance.
17. Debuted groups can decide if a portion of profits will go to the company shares, solo projects, charity or funding for other projects.
18. Solo works (Acting, Solo works) get a 75/25 split in the artists favor.
18. Groups can reject concepts if 60% oppose to it.
19. Idols can have a say in hair being dyed/cut/styled a certain way, along with clothes for concept.
20. "Chef’s Request Day" Trainees can request for special meals that aren't on the menu.
21. Wearable Tech Alerts staff if trainees overexert themselves/dont sleep/eat enough.
22. Therapy Garden, every new trainee gets to add a flower/plant to the Opus garden after 1 month and if trainees like it, they can do gardening and tending to it as a relaxation method.
23. On long practice days, a 30 minute break is required for resting.
24. New trainees give the koi pond fish a name, its said to bring luck.
25. No screens at the table rule at the cafeteria to encourage bonding.
26. After 4 years, idols can take 6 months unpaid leave to recharge, no questions asked (content will be filmed beforehand and released to last so fans are not left with nothing)
27. Idols are allowed to date openly, anyone or any race or gender but PR coaches help manage public perception and if they want to keep it a secret.
28. Idols are allowed to reject doing fanservice or forced aegyo if they choose not to.
29. Trainees are taught first thing by therapists and lawyers how to spot manipulation, physical/mental abuse/Grooming/Assault/Toxic Relationships/guilt-tripping and similar situations, they teach them how to handle them in multiple ways, when its bad, why and how to stay safe and how to report them.
30. Plastic surgery is NOT expected, if the idol wants to get it done, they are free to do so but Counseling is required first to ensure it’s not due to coercion.
31. Custom-made training plans for ADHD, autism, anxiety, etc to make sure they are accommodated for and able to perform at their best.
