Probably one of my favourite pictures from Madagascar - the Milky Way, as seen from the Mariarano village base camp. I’d never seen it in person before and it was a little bit overwhelming; to see it so big and bright in the sky made everything on Earth feel small and insignificant.

It has been a super long few weeks, but after 29 hours of travelling, I'm back home in England after my stretch as a research assistant in Madagascar. I've got SO MUCH COOL STUFF TO BLOG ABOUT but I have so SO MUCH SLEEP TO CATCH UP ON. However, brightside - I am clean!! I am wearing non-expedition clothes!! I have eaten stuff that is not rice and beans!! I have used a flushing toilet!! It's been so nice to catch up with family and friends today, I've missed home so much and my mama even baked me a cake. The EMOTIONS. 🐙
