to the people making the raven cycle edits - PLEASE. they live in NORTHERN VIRGINIA. we do not have snowcapped mountains. we have gently rolling hills because our mountains are OLD AS FUCK. as seen in the BOOKS. 

yall. cabeswater is cool and magical but you are ignoring and doing a disservice to the unnervingness of the blue ridge mountains when you display them as the damn rockies. THEYRE OLD. THEYRE FORESTY. THEYRE NOT TALL CLIFFS AND HUGE PEAKS [generally]. THEYRE STILL LOVELY. 

i am not actually angry about this i just love my mountains and the fact that trc is set in and around them is just !!!!!! folklore and magic and the beauty of small towns (despite the racism and the occasional dead bodies in your neighbors houses (a long story)) here is very lovely. so. yes. blue ridge mountains!!! love em!!!

Harringrove for BLM

I'm jumping on this train and creating podfic for donations. Because I've been sick with some chronic shit that effects my voice, I'll need a little longer than I've seen some people offering, but here's the run down:

Offering podfic, capped at 20k (can be across multiple fics/donaters or one 20k fic)

Will upload by 30th June

$5 USD donations for fics under 2k. If you'd like a longer fic, your choice of donation between $20-50 USD. (These are the prices I offered for HFA, but I also recognize so many people are struggling financially bc of the pandemic, so if they don't work for you but you would like to support BLM and receive a podfic please message and we'll make something work.)

Only up to M rating, no E

If the fic isn't yours, we'll need permission from the author

If the fic squicks me, I reserve the right to ask for a different one (but I'm not easily squicked so don't stress)
