why.... do people ship indrid and duck? did I miss something? what do they see in it? - sincerely, a confused aromantic
i haven’t gotten too into any amnesty ships myself (i’m loving amnesty so far but one of the downsides when compared to balance is that the monster hunt style doesn’t leave for a lot of genuine character interactions and those are what tend to draw me towards shipping)
honestly the appeal i see for induck is you have a character who’s focus is seeing the future and destiny, tied with a character who wholly rejected their destiny for most of their life. indrid’s whole thing was adjusting destiny to try and fit something he wanted by sending the pineguard out to save people, and that’s basically what duck has started to do on his own as well. it sets up some really neat parallels between the characters, so if i had to take a guess that’s probably the base dynamic most people are playing with for induck
