in a world where shapiro and dubois were sent, do you guys think that grace wakes up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat because he's imagining that none of the four survived the journey. Earth wouldn't ever know until at least 28 years have passed and someone gets a feeling that something went wrong. it doesn't matter if it did or not. grace still feels the guilt of sending those four up into space to die. maybe they would figure it out or not. grace watches the world freeze over and knows that it's his fault for not training them better or understanding astrophage enough or not volunteering
