He pulled the blanket slightly closer, attempting to exist in the moment of warmth and clarity it brought; the one fleeting moment of grounding and solid form to life. The room around him was spinning, but not in the way he would assume the room to. Instead of nauseating dizzy spinning, he felt as though he was on a ship; a ship lost at sea and caught in the storm of the century.
Reality itself felt as though it were bending but not quite breaking. Like watching a hunter draw a bow that was strung just slightly too tight. Like it may snap at any moment.
