Truly thinking about everything Mary went through at once drives me insane.

Like imagine growing up a lesbian in a violent and insular community and wanting SO badly to get out. Then BAM, angels magic you into falling in love with a man and then BAM you're violently murdered.

Then suddenly you're alive and your kids are older than you and gay marriage is legal. And maybe you find out you were magicked into love with your (now dead) husband but also maybe not because who cares? And Then you're brainwashed into killing people.

And then you start getting close with your old sons and you start sleeping with a man like 30 years older than you because you aren't allowed to interact with women because you're A Mom.

And then you get brutally murdered again.
