Mermay!!! I changed last year’s design a little bit, added some fins on the back so it imitates “wings”. Raphael and their acolytes reside on the peaceful waters of the kingdom near the surface, sometimes helping lost humans along the way, but since help is needed in all places, they are equipped with sharp fins who help them swim faster and bioluminescence to light their way on the darkest parts!

sometimes i just really like to think about how michael (and the other archangels in general) were written in season 5-6 ,, they were terrifying , dude !

- how casual and calm michael was when talking to dean ; which , the entire conversation revolved around killing his little brother, who he raised and loved, and also his very morbid philosophies (which took dean several episodes to recover from) all the while grinning and doing really ,, weird shit ?? cracking jokes ?? + like theres a moment where hes like ?? swaying ?? idk how to describe it but hes having a GOOD TIME freaking the hell out of dean ,, then fixing his jacket ,, just . dude. it gives me the chills.

- when lucifer asked about castiels experience riding in the car. it was a small detail but it added so much to how the archangels looked at humanity and what they thought of it !! he seemed so disturbed and confused !! i dont even have to elaborate!!

- when raphaels interrogated by castiel, and just his ,,, nihilistic views on his father and their reality in general ,,, he really believed god was dead, his own father ! he really gave off the " i dont give a shit about ANYTHING but i will fuck you up " vibe and i loved it so much ,, i wish he was a bigger character but ,,

- this is really small but, gabriels always been a bit more human-friendly than the rest, but theres small details in the dialogue that i just !!! adore !!! theres the scene where gabriels in the angel trap, and dean says something ,, idk annoyingly deanish and theres like this !! terrifying primal music sound affect as it pans back to gabriel,, and the emphasis on his eyes ,,, its so short but its so scary and it shows the danger of the archangels and i love it SO MUCH !! + the moment where he talked about how much he loved his brothers, it show how complex but loving their relationship is ,,,, in their weird archangely way,,,

in conclusion: the archangels in the earlier seasons SLAP SO HARD
