Sometimes I get a moment of complete disassociation where I just find myself thinking “huh people actually live in Florida?? Whack.” Cause like it’s not just a state shaped loony bin just for Tourists. It’s people’s livelihoods and sometimes all they’ve ever known. It’s not just a place for Sharon to vacation to celebrate her 60th birthday or for retirees to go when they can’t stand the cold.
