Ora Cogan (British Columbia) "summons orchestral waves of violins and rolling psychedelic guitars, propelled forward by a voice that sweeps audiences away under a tsunami of blissful sonic complexity."
What this means to me is that she sounds like a cross between Vashti Bunyan, Hectorine and Weyes Blood. I would also state that there is a more ethereal sound than any of the three artists mentioned.
Lori Goldston, who served as the touring cellist for Nirvana back in 1993-94 plays cello here. Additionally there is violin, harp, and every once in a while drums that can propel a song out of its dreamlike state.
This 7" was released through Prism Tongue Records.
