This deck represents the intricate inner mysteries that make the cosmos tick. The suit of Mechanisms signifies what we know: knowledge, civilization, function and structure. The Relics represent how we live: aspiration, journeys, self-discovery, meaning and purpose. The Blooms represent what we can sense: nature, life, death, pain and pleasure. The Prisms signify how we feel: love, emotion, intuition, the spiritual and abstract. Read this deck however you please; using tarot spreads, daily card pulls, asking questions, or to simply spark creative solutions to problems, re-frame your mindset, or catalyze new appreciation for your own colorful reality.
This deck also doubles as a playing card deck -- an idea I've been obsessed with doing myself since I bought the Illuminated Tarot. While the deck has its own unique suits, they are sorted into standard playing card symbols; spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs, and two joker cards represented by stars.
This deck is my most ambitious art project I've ever done and the thing I'm most proud of. I've been painstakingly planning and painting this for several years, trying to make a cohesive set of artwork that functions like a mini art gallery in your pocket. I wanted the deck to truly tell a story about the guts of the universe, how it was born, how it evolved, how it continues to grow with us at the crux of it. I hope the artwork speaks to you and gives you peace, joy, and moments of critical reflection.
The cards measure 2.8 inches by 4.4 inches and use 280 gsm cardstock. The deck is lightweight, VERY easy to shuffle, and fits easily in your pocket. Whip it out any time for single card readings and self affirmations, or play a quick card game by yourself or with others!
