Don't these people watch TV?

Rosemary's Baby is kind of irritating. The neighbours have you wearing a mysterious amulet, you dream about dead people, a priest tells you your building is populated by cannibals and satanists. And you don't immediately think 'Devil worshippers have impregnated me'? I hear a noise in the hallway when I'm in bed and immediately think 'yep, I'm gonna open my eyes and find a dead person standing over me.' The supernatural explanation would be my first theory. Or maybe I've just watched too many fantasy/horror TV shows and movies. At the very least I'd think 'My neighbour is trying to poison me. Better lay off these rank herb smoothies.'
