Oraia sighed. She was a socialite, whether or not the whole world ever realized she was something more. She loved parties & loved getting to meet people—but she really disliked when she sensed the supernatural aura of someone she didn’t know. She couldn’t tell how powerful the being was, what species they were (even after 5000 years of being alive), or if it was malevolent in nature. Oraia simply knew that the thing, the person, was there. If she wasn’t curious by nature, she would’ve turned around & left. The last thing she needed was to run into 1 of the Theoi (the Olympians, as most called them).
She took a deep breath & tracked the source of the aura down. With a subtle movement, a small portal put her magic knife in her purse.
“I know what you are,” Oraia said softly, “Mind telling me what you’re doing here?”
