maybe it's because I romanced him first but every time I play a rook other than oran, I'm still filled with this yearning and need to look out for emmrich. it's like every single one of my rooks has this voice in the back of their head saying "maybe in another life, another time, it could have been us"

seriously thinking about trying to write a post-veilguard fic for my rook and the rest of the party where they go back to what's left of weisshaupt with the wardens to start the rebuilding process, or at least salvage artifacts and books. maybe while they're there they find something that gives them hope for hardings fate and so they go looking for her next and so on..

anyway if I never actually write it or put it out, I know I've written the idea down somewhere at least. that, and this is now what canonically happens with my rook and the group after the game
