its insane to me that a sub plot in community 2x10 mixology certification isn't annie's lesbian awakening. guest starring notable lesbian comedian tig notaro as the hot bartender annie spills her guts to about how she feels trapped in the identity she's constructed for herself to fulfill expectations and wishes she could become someone else, her true self (lesbian). like textually it would have made sense for them to kiss i mean

^ girl meeting someone who makes her feel safe enough to admit that maybe she wants to screw everything up if it means she could be free of the weight of her current self

^ girl confessing this to her best friend (troy) who she trusts because he is undergoing a very similar transformative period of his life (gay awakening)
