Apple released OS X 10.10 GM Candidate in 9/30.
Selectable text (in Booster Mode) of certain books was not correctly rendered in this new OS.
The other functions perfectly worked as before.
If you need selectable text, please stay in OS X 10.9.5 or before until I fix this issue.
I hope to get it fixed before OS X 10.10 is officially released.

ORB Reader 2.6.1
1. Export best quality PDF is optional that can be enabled in Preference.
If you like a smaller (about 1/3rd) PDF file, don’t check it. Enable for the best text quality if you want to print out the PDF.
2. Fixed the bug that can’t to open .zip file directly.
This new update is still waiting for review. So… it should be available soon.

Use Extract to PDF or PNG Service provided by SWF to PDF Converter 1.6 or later to extract the graphics and images of current reading page directly. It’ll send the current page to SWF to PDF Converter for selection and extraction.
SWF to PDF Converter 1.6 or later should be installed to enable this feature.

A simple way to tell your .orb file is supported or not.
Most people would like to know if an app really works or not before they pay.
So do I.
Since there are some other audio/video .orb files with the same file extension, here is the simple way to tell if your .orb file is the supported format of ORB Reader/Viewer.
1. Please rename the .orb file to .zip (System will warn you, just Use .zip)
2. Double-click on the renamed .zip file and decompress it.

Once you opened the .orb file with ORB Reader 2.0, the icon of the .orb file will be set to the first page which is usually the book cover.
Now, you can easily manage the .orb files in Finder.
Hope you can enjoy your books as it should be.
