What if one of your OCs lived in a different point in time in the SW galaxy? Who would it be, and how different would they be?
Depending on character, their life would have ranged from “pretty much the same” to “completely different character”. Wec for instance: Without the circumstances of his parents, without the Jedi Order and his master shaping his life, without Thia(and Azenee in consequence), Anlyanna’s mother(and her in consequence)…
Especially without the incident on Quesh, which is THE shaping point for his story as well as him as a character(e.g. first time really talking to an imperial, a Sith no less, thus coming to a fairly greater understanding of them than many others; the recuperation which was the reason for him and Deera to meet and become acquainted etc.)
I honestly played with the thought to send a character to another timeline(like Celeste Morne for example), and if that would be come to happen it would most likely be Orbay, Nayarna or Serron.
Orbay is a character who fares well in pretty much every setting. I don’t know if he would have become the kind of person he is, but if he would have been alive during the fall of the republic? He would have certainly been able and craftly enough to survive it. Orbay in SWR? Hm…
As for Nayarna, she proved time and again that she a)can adapt and b) WONT. FUCKING. GO. DOWN. And if she would not have been kidnapped, she would have most certainly joined the republican army. Or the imperial one(although that would have depended on the time. She’s not one for Blood Knight’s like Vader or Tarkin. Needa, Piett, Pellaeon or Thrawn? That could have worked.
And I want a headcanon with Serron as part of Talon Karrde’s network. Becuase that would fit. And be awesome.
