The festival
So for my story (stories since I’ve begun mapping an entire fantasy world and think it would be awesome to have overlapping stories) the Orc king of years ago battled a human king and due to the human king’s lack of knowledge in his magical fighting skills, he lost. So as punishment the Orc Kings since then have chosen to take a human queen’s, but strength is important to the Orc’s and so it is important they have a strong queen. So everytime a new queen must be chosen the Orc King chooses his champion queen, and those who disagree can choose to battle against the chosen queen for the King’s hand in a tournament. The Orc King chooses said champion queen at a festival held by the humans, where he walks among them disguised to get to know them.
