A lonely Valentine

I had planned to post the next part of Emily’s story- HOWEVER, Emily’s story is tragic and it’s meant to be tragic since it ties into William using his power over the mansion and how long Emily has been without her memories. But I’ve gotten to the climax for Mr. Topper in her story and I’ve bonded with them for so long I’m having trouble pushing through the writing, I know this is gonna hurt but I just have to force my way through it. So here is a sad lil valentine for Emily and Mr. Topper, and a reminder that (as of current) Emily thinks Mr. Topper isn’t part of the haunted mansion, she is truly alone.

My gnome scorceress after her first adventure!

Small icon is before, so we couldn’t tame the bear we encountered so we had to defeat it, and I decided my gnome will wear it’s pelt.

She also gained a following at a tavern, it was pretty cool.

Fantasy races

I was trying out what I wanted my fantasy races in my Snapdragon story as well as “Forest of Doors” to look like. I wanted all of them to be different from what they’ve normally been portayed, but taking from cultures around the world.

I had alot of fun with this and I really love the Orc sketch the most honestly!

Mage concept

So the protagonist for the Orc King story is this chick, she hates the way her kingdom has adapted to idolizing physical strength and violence as a way of judging who has worth. She loves magics, although she only has two spellbooks her mother left her, spells for first aid and spells for housework. Something the town makes fun of her for seeing as those are usually tasks run by men. I don’t have a name for her yet, nothing seems to fit but maybe I’ll find something?

Magnolia again

So I am still working out the kinks in magnolia’s design and I like this picture overall as a piece on it’s own however first of all I forgot to give her elf ears, and second I think I want to swatch some darker skin tones for her because she does farm and such. But that is more to come! I hope you like this at least!

Magnolia concept final

Throwing it back a bit, The Grimm storyline main progagonist - Magnolia who is the farmer princess. She is known for such acts as hogtying a prince in the middle of a masquerade because he was a tool, getting blackout drunk and making out with The Grimm, and only to later threaten him with a sickle later. A dynamic love story I have planned. (Also I forgot her ears again! She is supposed to be an elf!)

Fighter Concept

Younger sister to a mage I’m working on, they live in a town which believes (since women are the ones being chosen in fights and tournaments) that physically strong women are favored. Leaving men to take up the caretaker role, however the kingdom encourages them to be stronger because after all - the more fighters they have, the stronger they will be, the stronger they will be, the stronger they’ll be against the Orcs. With the concept sketch here, I experimented with bangs and no bangs and I think I like her joan of arc look alot more.
