A story of an attack I had surely never heard of before.
In 1972, this man and his family were attacked by a pod of killer whales (he explains it as "mom, dad and baby in between"), which completely sank their 45-foot schooner.
The big bull was injured in the attack ("his head was split open" - paraphrased), and Douglas here thinks they mistook the boat for a whale they wanted to kill and eat.
Still, before the recent attacks in Gibraltar, I had never heard of killer whales sinking boats before, yet more stories keep coming of attacks in the wild.
