oh so instead of filming one long 20 episode season they filmed a 14 episode season and a 6 episode season - still giving us 20 episodes of the intrepid heroes but allowing for a (probably) easier shooting schedule and the availability to explore more worlds/game systems (or just certain a certain part/era of a world)

i really do think eddie Knows btw. like this episode cinched it for me. i think he Knows and he’s sooo excited about what’s about to come for the two of them!! he knows that soon he and buck will be together and in love more explicitly than they are now but he also knows that buck’s not ready yet. and maybe eddie’s not either but i think mostly he’s enjoying the excitement and anticipation!! he Knows and he’s giving buck space to be ready while also enjoying where they are
every week i watch school spirits and i go “surely this episode won’t be as good as last week’s” and every week they fucking knock it out of the park!!!!!
