Browsing through #orcalab account. A beautiful post from 2018 Credit © 🎬 ✅. @orcalabbc ✒ The first visit to the Rubbing Beach of 2018 is a fact! Word was spreading that whales were in the area and this afternoon we began to hear the familiar calls of the A23s and A25s and the A30s. But there was a surprise of A4 calls as well. We spent the next few hours tracking the orcas through Blackney Pass and into Johnstone Strait. Where the A23s, A25s and A4s went in for a rub at the Main beach. What a Canada Day! 🐳🇨🇦🐬 Also welcome to Luke, Ben & Amelie! Ellie was happy to see company after being charge of the Lab pretty much by herself for nearly 3 weeks.
