"Nice singing, I commend," Vil states, while quietly giving a small applaud to Barbara who was carrying the three cups of drinks, as she hummed a catchy tune while she approached, deciding to be a little playful to put on a mini singing show.
"Hehe! Thank you very much, Mr Vil!"
As the young girl placed the drinks for all of you to have, smiling at the both of you, Vil smelt the drink.
It's scent was... very strong. And... passionately burning.
"Um.. sorry Barbara, I... didn't know the drink would be so... strong? Is this some sort of juice? I wasn't quite paying attention, I'll be honest."
Barbara simply beamed.
"This is my favorite spicy energy drink! Y/n here ordered, and they wanted us to talk about ourselves while drinking them! Mr Diluc made them so don't worry!"
Vil slightly cringed. He's one to avoid energy drinks because of how sugary they are. But a spicy drink? That sounded like something off the table for Vil. And spicy stuff tend to ruin one's singing voice as well.
He held the cup, looking at it as if he was second guessing if this would be a good choice.
"I promise it taste great than it sounds, Mr Vil! It helps me get through my day, and Mr Diluc put in healthier alternatives!"
Vil took one last, hesitant look at the drink before he finally took a sip. He felt the mild spice run down his throat. It didn't burn like a rough flow of an intense waterfall, but rather smoothly like a calm river. It was actually refreshing and cold, well, due to the fact it was chilled, but it didn't burn.
Soon, he drank all it's contents slowly, only to see Barbara has already finished hers.
"So... how was the drink, Mr Vil?"
He paused and looked at the cup, before setting it down on the table.
"It's... not that bad. I feel a little rejuvenated," he calmly states, using a napkin to properly wipe his mouth.
Barbara smiled, "Well, I'm glad you liked it, Mr Vil! Maybe one day we should have more of such together! And I also heard you sing and dance! We should collaborate one day!"
Vil smiled at the young girl. "We shall."
"Anyways," Barbara turned to you, pale blue eyes sparkling with anticipation as she stared at you expectedly. "So, did you like the drink, too?"
