#irl post #my art #vent art #worked all day and came home in pain #got told that family was coming over #tired and hungry and in pain #and I couldn't cook with my family here #and they spent a few hours #and but the time they left I hadn't eaten in 10 hours #and I had no energy left to cook cuz it was all used to just not scream #too much stimulation and not enough food #I still feel terrible #but at least I ate #Ordered pizza #I wish I could say no #I also wish I had to option to go non verbal #like im too tired to talk and interact #let me chill so I don't wanna fucking tear my hair out #but noooooo I have to host people right when I get home from work

being "high-functioning" means that you struggle enormously to do what you do while maintaining a facade of ease or at least grace, which also means you're never rly seen and thus you won't receive help or even empathy from the ppl around you
